'i'he large hall had been admirably arranged for tlw occasion by tIJI committee and ottiivrs for the reception of exhibits, which coinpri>ed birds of the nest pos^ibk strains from all parts of the United Kingdom, tha entrit> numbering nearly 2.000, and the 8um of £ 300 was offered in prizes, covering the range uf nearly 900 awards.
