SW ANSEA'S TRADE. Swansea, Monday. — The improved figures in the trade of the harbour dis- played the preceding week were not maintained last week, alto there was also a decine compared with the corres- ponding period last year. The import trade was again very quiet, and there was a falling off in the coal and patent fuel 'trades. On the other hand there ivar, a revival in the general cargo trade, the clearances being 6,355 tons, destined for I Korway, Dsnmark, Holland, Spain, and home porte. The shipments of coal and patent fuel were 62,805. tons. Imports 3.040 tons, exports 69.160 tons, and total trade 72.200 tons compared with HS.928 tons the preceding week, and 82,091 tons the corresponding week last year. Shipments of coal 52,310 tens, patent fuel 10,i(i5 tons, and tinplatee, iron, steel, etc., (>,3.t5 tons. Shipments of tinplate 72,978 boxes, and receipts from works 50,584 boxes. Stocks in the dock warelioti-.ei; and vans 205,097 boxes compared with 227.491 boxes the preceding week, and 82,344 boxes at this date last year. Eight vessels are due to load general cargo in the current week.
