I BODY IN BROOK. Open Verdict in Brecon- shire Tragedy. A tragic discovery was made this week on the confines of Breconshire and Car. marthenshire by a son of Mr. James, Cwmshidan Farm. In Cwmshidan Brook, just below his father's farm, lie discovered the body of a man, which was subso quently identified s that of Mr. Thomas Thomas, aged 36, son of Mr. Thomas, the tenant of Halfway Farm. Deceased, it appears, used to leave his home for periods, and engage in work at the industrial centres. He left the neigh- bourhood on the 7th inst, stating that lie was going to work at Crynant, and nothing more was heard of him until the discovery of the body in the brook. Dr. Powell afterwards held an enquiry. a the jury brought in a verdict of Found drowned."
