The procession will form in the front of the Harbour offices, and start punctually at 12 at noon, proceeding by the Quays to the Gas Works, returning by the same route to the Harbour Offices, thence via the Slate Quays past the Castle, to the promenade, past the Royal Welsh Yacht Club House to the Victoria Pier. Here the pro- cession will halt, and open right and left to allow the Mayor pass through, to where the stone of the New Harbour Works is to be laid. On arriving at the plat- form erected for the purpose, the Mayor's Chaplain will offer up a prayer suitable for the occasion, after which the stone will be laid in due form by the Mayor of Car. narvon, who will deliver a short address. Tho procession will then reform in the same order as before, and prooeed by Bank Quay, Turkey-shore, Balaclava Road past Christ Church, The North Road, Bangor Street Turf Square, Bridge Street, to Castle Square, where the pro- cession will disperse. A Banquet in honour of tho occasion will take place on the evening of the same day at 5 o'clock, in the As. semby Room of the Royal Sportsman Hotel, The Mayor of Carnarvon in the Chair. Tickets to the Banquet may be had at the Bar of the Hotel, and at the different Hotels in the neighbourhood. The Prince of Wales Fountain in Castle Square will be illuminated at 9 p.m., and a shower of Rockets will be fired at the same time. The Inhabitants are requested to give as gala an ap- pearance as possible to the Town, by decorating their Houses, &c,, on an occasion so important to the interests of Carnarvon.
