THE BRYNMALLY COLLIERY ACCIDENT, AND LOSS OF "FOURTEEN LIVES. 1 ill THE fatal and melancholy Inundation at these JL Mines on the 30th of September last,, cannot but have awakened a feeling of deep interest and sym- pathy throughout the kingdom, especially in Mining Districts. Ever since the accident happened, every means have been used, but without success, to recover the unfortunate sufferers, imprisoned in the mines by the water. Nine widows and twenty seven children, besides aged relatives, thus deprived of their natural support are compelled to appeal to the sympathy of the pnblicJor relief. A Subscription list has been open- ed to meet their urgent claims, and it is hoped that this appeal on behalf of the widows and fatherless will meet with the response it deserves.
