Rhos, in which the Rhoa players walked og the field before time, was ordered to be replayed.-A complaint wa.s made as to the conduct of the spectators at a match between Wrexham and Westminster Rovers, on the Rovers' ground. The Rovers were warned as to the consequence if it occurred aga.in.-The teams were selected for the Inter-League match, to be played on October 26th.

Agriculture. I Though the agricultural depression bag been universal throughout the country, the value of land in Wales has not decreased in anything like the pro- portion it has in England. Since 1879 the value of land in agricultural coantiea in England has de- creased from 20 per cent. in the Midlands to 39.1 per cent in Essex. In Denbighshire the decrease has been less than 15 per cent., in Cardiganshire less than 1 per cent., in Carnarvonshire only 0.1 per cent., while in Carmarthenshire there has been an increase of 1.8 per cent. INVERNESS CATTLE MARKET. On Monday at Macdonald, Fraser, and Co.'s (Limited) weekly saie of fat stock there was a good show in point of quality. although the numbers were rather short. Cattle met with a firm and steady trade all through, at prices similar to last week. Sheep—There was few fat Iambs on offer. Hoggs were in demand, and main. tamed last week's high prices. Wethers were scarce. Cheviot and bi&ckface ewes were in demand, and sold dear. There was a large attendance of dealers and bptcbera for cattle and sheep, both local and from a distance.
