VOLUNTEER ARTILLERY CHURCH PARADE.— A Church Parade of the 2nd Glamorgan Royal Garrison Volunteer Artillery will take place at St. Paul's Church, Barry, on Sunday next. The Cardiff Companies will parade at the Cardiff River- side Station at 10 a.m., and the Penarth Companies at Cogan at 10.15. They will join the Barry Company at the Drill Hall, Bassett-street, Barry Docks, and march to St. Paul's Church, headed by the Regimental Band. YOUNG MBN S WALKING COMPETITION. —THE first competitive walk in the Barry district will take place on Saturday next in connection with the Barry Young Men's Institute. The course will be from the Boys' Brigade Hall to St. Fagan's and back. The winner will receive a gold medal, and silver medals will be given to the next three to arrive. A start will be made at three p.m..and a good competition is anticipated. LADIES' AND GENTS' PERFECT TAILORING.— Our reputation for special garments is second to none. WESLEYAN SUNDAY SCHOOL ANNIVERSARY.— The Sunday school anniversary of Barry Wesleyan Church will be held on Sunday next, when the Rev Robert Bond will preach both morning and evening. In the afternoon, at 2.45, a special children's service will be held, and a programme of singing, recitations, &c,, will be rendered. Councillor J. A. Hughes will preside. On Wednesday next a public tea will be held from 5.30 to 7 p.m., followed at 7.30 by a service of song, entitled A Jewelled Diadem," with recitations, &c. The artiste8 will be-Soprano, Miss F. Dure contralto, Miss Mabel Hosgood elocutionist, Mr G. Waters. The chair will be taken by Mr W. H. Wallis. Tickets for tea. and service of song, Is; service of Bong only, 6d and Is.
