CORN. LIVERPOOL, Tuesday.—The attendance at our Exchange wep large, but, with heavy arrivals, Wheat was purchased very slowly to-day, notwith- standing a concession of Id per cental made by holders. The shipments for the past week to the United KIL ^dom were 74,500 quarters (Liverpool 12,500), Continent :80,000, with 100,000 from California a-d Oregon, making a total of 254,500 quarters. Hour sold slowly at late currencies. Indian Corn: Mixed American, although still scarce, was barely so good, and met with a very moderate inquiry; white and Galatz supported late values. The shipments amount to 328,000 quarters, of which 80,000 are for the Continent and 248,000 for the United Kingdom, including 35,000 for Liverpool. To-day's quotation were:—Mixed American old 5s lOid, new 5s 9d to 5s lOd, and Galatz 6s 5d to 6s lOd per lOOlbs. Beans sold in retail only, at late figures. LIVERPOOL, Monday.—The supply of cattle was about the same as on last Monday; of sheep less. A slow demand for each at full prices for both beef and mutton. The prices ruling for the last few weeks have attracted a good many Scotch cattle to this market. The American supply has been larger, amounting to 1400 live cattle and nearly 2000 carcases of beef. Beef, 5d to Sid; !f 4 mutton, 8d to 10d. Cattle, 1430; sheep 3295. LONDON, Monday.—The quality of our beast supply has not been quite so good; general heaviness prevailed in the trade; choice Scotch, however, sold well; other kinds barely support late rates; a clearance is doubtful.
