Sunday School Day. TEA MEETINGS AND PARADES AT ABERDARE. On Monday (Bank Holiday) tea was given to the scholars of the following Aberdare Sunday Schools:- Calfaria (B.).-The trayholders were: (1) Mrs Jones, Pendarren Street, and Mrs George; (2) Miss Mary Thomas and Miss Bessie Rees; (3) Miss Evans, Stuart Street, and Miss Lydia Rees, Y nys- lwvd Street; (4) Mrs Evans and Mrs Thomas; (5) Mrs Thomas and Miss Eiuily Katie Evans, assisted by Master Eiulyn Evans; (6) Miss Rebecca Jones and Miss Mary Jones; (7) Mrs Williams, Oak Street, Miss Ira Edwards, and Miss Elizabeth Williams; (8) Miss Davies, Herbert Street, and Miss Rod- erick. Misses Sarah Phillips, and Lizzie Rees and Mrs Rees, assisted by Misses Maggie Abraham, Gwen Abra- ham, Dolly Manning, Mary Roberts, and Annie Roberts. A feature of the tea party was the bachelors' table, presided over by Messrs Joseph Rees, W. M. Lewis and David LeVis, assisted bv Masters David John Davies, Elwyn Gray, and Oswald Williams. Cutters: cake, Mr William Walters; bread and butter, Mrs Margaret Gray and Mrs Davies; brewers, Mr David Rees. Ticfket sellers and collectors, Messrs Henry Jones and William Harris. The caterer was Mrs Roberts. All the ar- rangements were under the supervision of Mr R. W. Gray, superintendent of the school. After the tea the children adjourned to a field at Blaengwawr, kindly lent by Mr John Williams, where games were indulged in under the superintendency of the pastor, the Rev. T Eli Evans. Unitarian Chnrches.-The children ot Highland Place Sunday School had their annual tea at the Schoolroom, and they attended in large numbers. Later the com- panv went to Cwm Farm field (gener- ously lent by Mr Davies), where the pastor, ReV. E. T. Evans, and other adults organised games and sports for the children.—Hen Dv Cwrdd Sunday School members partook of their annual tea in the open air at Maesgwyn, T re- cvnon, kindlv lent by Mr Howells. ihe children turned up in strong numbers, and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. In the morning a united prayer meet- ing was held at Carmel Cnurch. when Mr Henry Bryant presided, lifter an introductory address by the chairman, addresses were delivered in Welsh by the Revs Eli Evans. Soar, and T. J. Pritch- ard, Sion. The Rev. J. Whittock was unable to be present through illness. The secretary was Mr W. George.
