Yn ol ei adroddiad i'r Ddrbynydd Swyddogol, yr oedd yr holl ofynion yn ci erbvn yn 173p 6s óc; eiddo gvverth 47p 9s 3c dyledion, 159p 9s 6c, yn cymvys 26 o wahanol ofynwyr am y swm o 129p 4s 6c, un am lip 5s arian benthyg, un am werth "p o ddodrefn, a lip 4s am rent a golcuni. Dywedai iddo 20p 9.s 3c ar y fasnach o Mai 12, 1907, a'i draul byw ef a'i wraig ydoedd 143p. Mewu atebion pellacli i'r Dirprwy Dderbynydd Swydd- ogol. dhv.edodd iddo wneud gweithred dros glwyddiadol o'i holl eiddo ryw wyth neu naw inlynedd yn ol, ond ni wvddai faint oedd hvs-m ei ddylccliDn y pryd hwnw, nag a dalnyd rhyw- faint ohonynt. Daeth Lewis John Davies, masnachydd ohvyn feirch, Llanir>vati i fyny am arholiad cyhoeddus. Y mae yn avvr yn byw yn Ystrad street, Rhon- dda, a bu yn cario yn mlaen fasnach mewn olwynfeirch yn Paris House, Llanrwst, ac yna yn Station road, Llanvwst. Yn ol adroddiad y Derbynydd Swyddogol, yr oedd yr holl* ofynion yn dod i 318p 12s, a'r diff^.g yn 304p 3s, gyda dyledion ar lyfrau y busnes o 117n 16s 11c. Yr oedd rr.ewn dyled o'r adog y dechreuodd. Chwefror SiJ, gwnaeth vveifchred drosghvyddiadol am ddyled o 386p g'ydag eiddo o 159p, a chynygiai dalu is 6c y bunt. Bu Mr Walling yn ymddiriedohvr o dan y weithred hyd nes gwcrthv.tyd yr eiddo am 17p 5s 10c. Yr cedd ei ddyledion yn cael 01 gwneud i fyny 0 ddau ofynwr "m fcnthycio;1, 146p; 37 o ofynwyr am nwyddau at ei fasnaoh; 246p 19s Ie; pump am ddillad iddo of ci turn, 9p 0s 3c; oyfanswm o 401p 19.; 4c. Yr oedd addef iddo fod yn byw o'r dechrcu ar ci ofyn wyr. Y rhent uehel a dalai, y busnes ddim troi elw iddo, ac yntau yn talu yn ol betii o'r benthyciadau, oedd y rheswm iddo fethu cario yn mlaen. Yn y Rhos yr oedd ei frawd yn byw, ac yr oedd ei enw i lawr fel cyd-denant, ao felly yr oedd yn gyd-gvfrifol am y rhent. Daeth ei gefnder, William Williams, yno i weithio, ac yr oedd i gael haner arian yr ym00n'n, a charl cadw hyny <tkwii3a.i 0 i1T.i feiliaid ar y lie. Yr oedd yr holl amgylchiadau wedi bod a flaen Llys Manddyledion Llanrwst, a'r Barnwr wedi dyfarnu fod \V. Williams ag yntau yn bartneriaid, a bod Williams wedi talu arian i mewn. Bu ail arwerthiant yn y ar 01 iddo wneud ei hun yn fethdalwr, ac yr oedd yr holl stoc wedi ei chlirio oddiyno, a'r rhent wedi ei daiu o'r arian gafwyd am y pethau. Yn ngwyneb yr hyn a fu yn Llys Llanrwst yr oedd yn dal i ddywedyd ar ei lw 11a ddaeth W. Wil- liams a dim arian i mewn. Ni roddodd ei gdn- der ddim arian at fyned i mewn Rhos, a dywedai hyny hcddyw fel y dywedodd o flaen y Barnwr. Archodd y Barnwr oi fod i dalu 290p i'w gefnder, a bod yr arwerthwyr i roddi yr arian yn y llys i'r pcnvyl hwnw. Yr ocdd yn ddyledus i Mr Rogers Jones am 74p, ac i Mri Blackwall, Hayes and Co. am 67p am stoc gafodd i'r Rhos ar ol yr arwerthiant cyntaf fu ar yr eiddo. Buasai yn gallu cario yn mlaen yn iawn yn y Rhos onibae fod ei gefnder yn pwvso arno am arian- Yr oedd "vcdi gwneud dat- guddiad llawn o bobpeth oedd ganddo. LAUNCH OF A YACHT. An interested, crowd of spectators watched the launching of a yacht at Messrs CrossfieJd and Sons' works on the quay on Saturday morning. The boat was got afloat with little difficulty, and sailed for Liverpool with her owner, Mr Stanley, of Bir- kenhead. He covered the distance in 50 minutes 22 seconds, which beats the previ- ous record made by the renowned Albert Shrubb by eighteen seconds. THE TERRITORIALS. — The local company of tho Territorials were not represented at Lon- don on Saturday, when the battalion was to have received their colours, owing to the fact that the battalion received an intimation that they could not receive their colours, a.s they were not at full strength on Juno 1st. ALLEGED UNLAWFUL WOUNDING. — John Williams, of Llechan Ucha Farm, again ap- peared yesterday (Wednesday) morning, before Dr. H. Arthur Prichard, at the police court, charged on remand with unlawfully wounding^ Thomas Jones, of the Hafotty Farm. Deputy Chief-Constable Rees asked for a remand for eight days on the grounds that Thomas Jones had not as yet recovered sufficiently to appear ini court, and this was granted, the same bail being granted as last week. SPECIAL POLICE COURT. — At a special police court held before Dr. R. Arthur Prichard, on Monday, James Traeey, Birkenhead, Patrick McIIugh, "Liverpool, George Taylor, London, Henry Wilson, Bradford, and Ann Williams, Llandrvgarn, were charged with being drunk on the previous night- Travcy, Mcllugli and Taylor were oach fined 5s and costs, or 14 days' in de- fault, and a fine of 10s and costs was imposed upon Ann Williams- Wilson was fined 2s 6d and costs. A special ex- cursion train was run, leaving Llanddulas at 5-30 a.m., and calling at Old Colwyn, Colwyn Bay, Mochdre and Pabo, and Llandudno Junction. OU-KJOSITY AROUSED,—On Thursday t.W2 men were observed standing on the opposite side of the Conway River above the old bridge industriou.sly throwing stones into mid-stream. A large arowd assembled on the bridge and along Bridge street to watch the proceedings and speculating as to the reason for the men's actions. They were soon joined by other men and scores of children who all joined in throw- ing- stones into tho river for about three hours. It appears that a dead laroprev rested on v<he bottom of the river bed, and the effort was directed to cause it to float into shallower water. The lamprey stiH rests secure in its watery bed. Farr, the head- master, relative to the -'idvisabili'ay of joining the Welsh County School Association with the result that it was decided to become affiliated with the Association. The plans of the proposed extensions of the school buildings were examined but it was decided toO defer tiheir further con- sideration pending the publication of the now scheme which in a shorts time will be submitted to each governor of County Schools throughout the oounty. ACCIDENT—While Mr D. Jones, Brynhyf- ryd, was leading a rather spirited horse near Caeperson on Saturday a motor oar, in attempt- ing to avoid the horse, dashed intc Caeperson garden wall, causing some damage both to the wall and the oar. The horse bolted and dragged Mr Jones as far as the tollgate, where he man- ag'ed to regain control over the animal. Mr Jones sustained injuries to his hood and hands. At the police court on Tuesday, before Messrs J. Adey Wells and J. O. In re- sponse to a unanimous request, Dr, Kenrick Da- vies has consented to contest in the Conservative interest the vacancy in the representation of the North Ward on the County Council, caused by the death of Air Richard Conway. The seat has not yet been formally declared vacant, and if tins ls not clone at the next meeting of the Coun- cil, there will probably be no by-election this year. The general election of the County Coun- cil members takes place next March. Alderman Robert Roberts is mentioned as the Liberal can- didate. FIREMEN'S THANKS TO LLANDUDNO-- Couneillor Thomas Smith, chairman of the Re- ception Committee in connection with the Fire Brigades Demonstration on Saturday, has re- ceived a communication signed by Mr W. THE STEAMERS. — Quite an elaborate pro- gramme of a trips was arranged this week by tho Liverpool and North Wales Steamship Com- pany. On Monday a special return fcrip was made to Liverpool, allowing passengers over six hours ashore- On Tuesday the "Snowdon" made an en- joyable trip to Blackpool and back, and on Wed- nesday the same boat went to Douglas, allowing two hours ashore. The same day the" St, Elvies" took a fair number of passengers for the trip round the Isle of Anglesey, which will be repeated on Sunday. On Saturday a special ex- cursion to Liverpool will be made. "La Mar- guerite" now sails daily between Liverpool, Lian- oudno and the Men-ai Straiis Special excursions are being arranged for next week. DEATH OF A LLANDUDNO TEACHER. On Satur- day morning he appeared to June quite re- covered, and was preparing to go out on his bicycle, when he complained of a pain in the head, and lost consciousness. lie passed away without regaining consciousiieiss. Deceased, who was 30 years of age, was a native of Aberystwyth, llai-ng taken the degree of M.A. at the University ot Wales, from the Aberystwyth College, he became assistant master at Aberayron County School, and from there he came to Llandudno about three years ago. Dur- ing his stay in the town lie as a faithful mem- ber of Shiloh C.M. Church- The body was con- veyed from Llandudno by train on Wednesday to Aberystwyth, where the funoral took place. At Llandudno a short service was conducted at the house, Ilazeibank, Council-street, by the Rev. 11. Barrow Williams, after which the solemn cor-, tego proceeded to the railway station- Among those present were the Rev. Llewelyn n. Hughes, M.A., Messrs W. H. Jones, T. W. Howard, Assisi House, were on Sunday evening driving down the road from Northop to Hojyweii, when the pin of the shaft of t.h& phaeton having dropped out, tlie shaft became detached and dangled about the horse's leg, causing it to bolt down the hill, NtrA Howard stepped out, and falling on the road sustained L severe scalp wounds and a dislocated shoulder.
