TO THE PUBLIC.
TO THE PUBLIC. At the conclusion of the third season during which the Observer has been published, it devolves upon us to take leave of our readers, thanking our adver- tising friends and subscribers for the pecu- niary support they have afforded us, and our contributors for the many valuable hints they have thrown mout for the im- provement of Tenby. It is our intention to publish again early next season, when copies will be sent to all our old sub- scribers, unless orders to the contrary should be given in the meantime.

On Friday evening last Mr. Huxley delivered an admirable lecture on Natural History, at the Infant School-room.
TO THE INHABITANTS OF TENBY.
TO THE INHABITANTS OF TENBY. LADIES AND GENTLEMEN,—Permit a Visitor, one who has enjoyed your fine sea and beautiful beaches, to call your attention to the want of a good promenade. When the water is low, the beaches afford capital walks, but when they are covered, where can the visitors of Tenby take exercise ? At Torquay, several miles of new drives have lately been made round the hills; at Ilfracombe there are beautiful walks also round the hills, and both places find these improvements practical benefits Let me therefore recommend you immediately to make a good promenade, thirty or forty feet wide, from the end of the old town wall, near the termination of Frog Street, along the top of the cliff to the windmill, whence a view of the setting sun could be obtained, where the west wind could be enjoyed, from both which delights the visitors of Tenby are, to a great extent, now deprived. Such an improvement would render this fashionable and delight- ful watering-place still more attractive, and draw visitors from all parts of the empire. A VISITOR. Tenby, Oct. 22, 1855.
