COLEG DEHEUDIR CYMRU. YR ARHOLIADAU DIWEDDAR. BNWAU YB THGEISWYE LLWYDDIAHUS. Rhyw bythefnos yn ol, cynaliwyd cyfarfodydd arholiadol yn Nghaerdydd, Merthyr, Abertawy, Casnewydd, Aberhonddu, Aberystwyth, Caer- fyrddin, a Hwlffordd, fel manau canolog, er rhoddi oyfleusdra i ymgeiswyr fwriadent aelodi yn y Coleg i gynyg am y scholarships a'r exhibitions. Yr oedd Awdurdodau y Coleg wedi cynyg un ys- goloriaeth gwerth .640ynwyddyn, un arallgwerth £25 y flwyddyn, a naw yn werth X20 yr un, a phob un ohonynt i'w dal am dair blynedd. Yn ychwanegol at yr uchod, yr oedd 32 o exhibitions, enillwyr pa rai a ganiateir i gael holl freintian addysgol y Coleg yn rhad am dair blynedd. Yr oedd nifer yr ymgeiswyr yn 75, ac yn eu plith yr oedd tua dwain o foneddigesau, ac mae'n lion gen- ym grybwyll mai un ohonynt hwy gipiodd y brif wobr, a bu wyth ereill mor ffodus ag enill exhibi- tions. Yr oedd oedran y gwahanol ymgeiswyr yn cyrhaedd o'r 16 i'r 27, a gwelir oddiwrth y gyfres fod braidd pob rhan o'r Deheudir yn cael ei chyn. rychioli gan y naill neu'r llall o'r ymgeiswyr, a gellir ychwanegu ffaith ddymunol arall hefyd, fod yn mhlith yr ymgeiswyr blant i lafurwyr, i fas- nachwyr, i grefftwyr, i gyfreithwyr, i offeiriaid, ae i weinidogion Ymneillduol, Agorir y Coleg yn ystod y mis hwn. Maey rhagolygon yn addawol ac yn gysurus dros ben. Wele yn canlyn gyfres o enwau yr ymgeiswyr llwyddianus fel y cyhoeddwyd hi yn y South Wales Daily Netvs am ddydd Llun, yn nghydag enwau yr ysgolion neu y colegau y perthynent iddynt:— THE SCHOLARSHIPS. The scholarship of X40 per annum to Miss Janet Greener, at present a teacher at Miss Tullis's, St. Catherine's School for Girls, Park-place, Cardiff, educated at Milton Mount College, Gravesend. The scholarship of .£25 per annum to Mr John R. Howell, 21, Chalybeate-street, Aberystwyth (University College of Wales, Aberystwyth), Nine scholarships of £ 20 per annum to— Mr John D.
