CORN. LONDON, Tuesday.—The market was dull, and very little business was done. Both English and foreign wheat was nominally without change, but prices tended in buyers' favour. Flour neglected. Barley slow of sale at about late values. Maize flat and tended lower. Oats dull, and Monday's rates were barely maintained. Beans and peas met a slow trade at previous values. There was an increased animation in the seed trade generally, and on the part of country buyers especially there was more disposition to operate. LIVERPOOL, Tuesday.—The market opened firm for wheat, but subsequently relapsed, and only a moderate trade was done at the rates of Tuesday last, Friday's advance being therefore, retrtete t. Flour dull, without change in value. Beans and peas quiet at last Tuesday's prices. Indian corn in moderate demand at 3:1 per quarter decline. Quotations at the close 2Ss for new, and 29s for old American mixed. Weather fine, and frost over night. BIRMINGHAM, Thursday.—Market by no means brisk, but rather more business was done in foreign at last week's rates. English wheat in better condition and holders firm, but not much demand at former rates.
